Danna Garland, a certified fitness instructor , as well as certified Yoga and Pilates instructor. About 3 years ago I was asked to teach a Toning (Muscle) class and discovered how much my body tone improved, as did my bone density. Toning helps create a strong core, while giving your body's muscles strength and definition. I was already a Yoga and Pilates instructor so this was another way I could help my customers in their fitness quest, as well as my own. Combining weights, bands, balls in a combination of movements / routines that work on creating a strong core, strengthening muscles, and increased stamina. Toning combined with Pilates and Yoga is a full body workout like no other. The real plus is anyone can do a Toning class and at your level and pace. My theory is "we do what we can till we can do more." It is just that simple. It gives me great satisfaction to help instruct/teach my clients the benefits of Toning the body and then to watch them transform their bodies in the process.
